Dog training services

Payment Terms

Full payment for training sessions or packages is required at the time of booking.

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

 

Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

All sessions must be scheduled in advance.

Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule a session. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the scheduled session.

Missed sessions without prior notice will not be refunded or rescheduled.

 

Training Packages

Single sessions and packages (e.g., three-session bundles, five-session bundles) must be used within the specified timeframe from the date of purchase (e.g., four months for single and three-session bundles, six months for five-session bundles).​

 

Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure their dog is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and free from parasites.

Clients are responsible for informing the trainer of any behavioral issues, medical conditions, or special needs of the dog.

Clients must provide necessary equipment (e.g., leash, collar, treats) for each session.​

 

Trainer Responsibilities

Trainers will utilize humane and effective training methods tailored to each dog’s specific needs and goals, avoiding the use of any harmful tools.

Trainers will provide clear instructions and guidance to the clients.​

 

Safety and Liability

Clients agree to follow all trainer instructions to ensure the safety of both the dog and the trainer.

Clients assume all risks associated with training and agree to hold the trainer and company harmless from any claims or damages arising from the training sessions.​

 

Confidentiality

Any proprietary information shared by the trainer (e.g., training methods, materials) must be kept confidential and not shared with third parties without the trainer’s consent.​

 

Photo and Video Release

Photos or videos taken during training sessions may be used online for marketing or educational purposes.​

 

Force Majeure

The trainer and company are not liable for any delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond their control, such as extreme weather, illness, or emergencies. In such cases, sessions will need to be rescheduled.​

 

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New York State. Any disputes arising from the training services will be resolved in the courts of New York State.​

 

Agreement

By booking training sessions, clients agree to these terms and conditions.

Board and Train

Board & Train services

Payment Terms

Full payment for the Board & Train services must be made at the time of booking.

Program Duration

The duration of the Board & Train program will be specified at the time of booking.

Any extensions or modifications to the duration must be agreed upon by both parties in writing.

Cancellation Policy

Boarding cancellations (including partial cancellations) with over 7 full days of notice are subject to a $100 cancellation fee.

Boarding cancellations (including partial cancellations) with less than 7 full days of notice are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the scheduled service (minimum $100).

Cancellations (including partial cancellations) made within 24 hours of the scheduled service and no-shows are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 100% of the booking.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Drop-off and pick-up times are from 9 AM to 9 PM and must be scheduled in advance.

Drop-off and pick-up outside of these hours must be confirmed by us and will result in an additional $10 fee in case of approval.

One boarding day is up to 24 hours maximum. Each additional hour on top of the 24-hour frame will incur a fee of $10 on regular days and $15 during holidays.

If the dog remains for more than 8 hours beyond the scheduled pick-up time, it will be considered another boarding day.

Health and Vaccination Requirements

All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and bordetella.

Dogs must be free from parasites and in good health. Proof of vaccination and a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian are required before the start of the program.

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a medical emergency, the trainer will make every effort to contact the owner immediately.

If the owner cannot be reached, the trainer will seek veterinary care at the owner's expense.

Behavioral Issues

Owners must disclose any known behavioral issues, aggression, or special needs of the dog prior to enrollment.

The trainer reserves the right to terminate the program if the dog exhibits behavior that poses a risk to itself, other animals, or people.

Training Methods

Trainers will use humane and effective training methods tailored to each dog’s specific needs and goals, avoiding the use of any harmful tools.

A customized training plan will be developed for each dog to address its unique behavior and training objectives.

Owner Responsibilities

Owners must provide any necessary medications, food, specific dietary requirements, and detailed care instructions at the time of drop-off.

Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog arrives with a properly fitted collar, leash, and any other necessary equipment.

Progress Reports

Owners will receive regular updates on their dog’s progress throughout the Board & Train program.

A final report and a training session will be provided at the end of the program to ensure a smooth transition back home.

Liability

The trainer and company are not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that may occur during the Board & Train program, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Owners agree to hold the trainer and company harmless from any claims arising from the Board & Train program or boarding service.

Dog boarding services

Cancellations (including partial cancellations) made within 24 hours of the scheduled service and no-shows are subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 100% of the booking.

The company has insurance that can be used in case of emergencies. However, any costs not covered by our insurance will be the owner's responsibility.
